Tendencies in Natal Charts

Although Astrology does not show the future, Suicidal, Criminal & Religious Tendencies are shown in the Natal Charts. This article presents some research that I have done on this matter and does provide some interesting observation in this regard.

Suicidal Tendency in Natal Charts

It is more than 20 years now since the time I started studying Astrology. The reason for this study at that time was to disprove the subject but it did not take long for me to understand that my thought regarding it was incorrect. Astrology does have the power to offer the interpretation of a person’s character accurately by the natal chart if a person has its good understanding. However, a layman wrongly takes it as an exact science or a system of Fortune-Telling. In fact, its laws are mostly of a psychological nature that tells us the tendencies in a person and not all of his personality for sure. Also it is not a system of prediction or telling the future as taken even by some of the learned astrologers of our time. But here I do not intend to forward an argument for the nature of Astrology as I take it, instead I want to present some interesting observation regarding Suicidal Tendencies that are clearly shown in natal charts.

For my study, I took the Birth Data of 30 ordinary persons that had committed Suicide, with some effort and search from the Internet. Please note that I do not have any personal knowledge about these persons and have taken the data as presented without any scrutiny. Also please note that though I have done this mentioned work carefully and studiously yet as I have managed it individually so there remains a small chance of error in one or two data. Any similarity with any one that has departed by Suicide must be considered as by chance as I would not present any names here and also would not give the dates of birth though I have saved them all with back-up at my computers. This data is uniformly spread ranging from 1950 to 1986 with three entries from 1950’s, four entries from 1960’s, nine entries from 1970’s and fourteen entries from 1980’s. With this data, I have also observed a second much smaller data of 6 greatly famous persons that chose their death by suicide (or are said to have chosen it that way) that was available for study. I would present the result of my observation for this Data too. Again I have studied a third data of somewhat famous persons (but not having a global fame) and I would also remark on that. Without any reservation I would accept the point that this is a very small data for observation. However I have tried to give here a simple hypothesis to check in each data and it does provide an initiative in this regard. Much work must be done to validate these results on a large scale so as to conform the assumption presented here.

In the very beginning of the observation of the first data that was based on ordinary persons that had committed suicide, I noted an interesting phenomenon that the natal charts of almost all the persons had Mars and Saturn in play. Mostly I found that Mars and Saturn were very near to each other as seen from the Earth and sometimes they had specific difference of degrees that was commonly accepted as an unfavorable planetary configuration in astrology. At both of these positions for this first data, there was at least one planet present in the sign Scorpio (the sign of Death) and mostly it was Jupiter or Uranus. Now in this study it would have been a wonderful find if any simple configuration of the planets did prove to hold good. Keeping this in mind, I assumed a set of planetary configuration involving both of these planets Mars and Saturn (both known as Malefic in Astrology), and on that self-devised criterion tested the position of these planets in the natal charts of the persons in study.

The Assumption that I took was that “If the planet Mars is within 30 degrees with the planet Saturn (equal to one sign or one house in astrology) or it is in square aspect with Saturn by astrological standard (equal to 90 degrees with the difference of 8 degrees allowed). And with this configuration, any one of the other planets is in the Sign Scorpio (specially Jupiter or Uranus), it shows the danger of committing Suicide”.

I checked the assumption practically by the charts presented through a Computer Program and the findings were so very interesting that I would like to share them with you. Among the thirty Charts, fifteen had Mars and Saturn within 30 degrees (eight were 16 to 30 degrees apart while seven were less than that) and a planet was present in the Sign Scorpio in all except for one. Please note that I have taken a difference of 30 degrees purposely here due to the observation of the data at hand while in Astrology there is a configuration with allowance of commonly 8 to 10 degree orb only that is named conjunction. Jupiter was the body that occurred at Scorpio in five cases while Uranus was the other body that occurred in same number of cases here. Among the other five charts, Pluto and Mercury occurred once each while two had Mars and Saturn themselves in Scorpio. One chart had no planet in Scorpio in this category though it had Mars & Saturn in conjunction by astrological standard and Mercury was in conjunction to Sun. In this chart, Pluto (The Ruler of Scorpio) made this same aspect (conjunction) to Moon. Please note that both the lights are taken to be the most important feature of any chart alongwith Ascendant and the aspects specially conjunction have a great importance here.

Alternately for the assumption, I had to see if Saturn was in Square to Mars but with astrological standard, with any of the other planets (Sun and Moon included) in Scorpio. Five of the remaining charts conformed to this that had a square of both the Malefic in them. A planet was present in each case here except for one that had a planetary configuration called a T-square among Mars, Saturn and Pluto. The planet in Scorpio in other four charts was Saturn, Venus, Neptune and again Neptune respectively.

There were ten charts in this data that did not conform to any part of the assumption except for a planet in Scorpio that was present in all but two of these remaining charts. However, even in these ten charts, it was a very interesting fact to note that seven had both malefic planets Saturn and Mars linked with Pluto always by favorable aspects. Moreover five of these seven charts had one of these three planets in Scorpio while the couple that did not have any planet in Scorpio, both had a grand trine between Mars, Saturn and Pluto. It seems to me as if the planet of death (Pluto) was providing the missing link by favorable aspects to both malefic planets to these persons and the cumulative effect was as if Mars and Saturn were in conjunction as in other nativities with a planet in Scorpio.

These Findings are most remarkable as they clearly tell us that natal charts do have a key to providing the disclosure of Suicidal Tendency though much work is yet needed to validate this observation due to the small number of the data collected. Please note that 27 out of 30 charts taken have a conformation to the set criterion in some way or other. Considering the favorable connections of Pluto to both the Malefic at one time in the natal chart as an unfavorable aspect among both, it is safe to say that the unfavorable link of Mars and Saturn is dangerous for normal tendencies. With a planet preferably Jupiter or Uranus in Scorpio, this tendency increases much and may guide a person to kill his own self considering it the best or perhaps the only way out. Although this study needs much broader study for sure with the same criterion yet the observation here do seem to guide us to understand ourselves better and make us capable to deal with the problem of Suicide that is mistakenly taken as a solution to problems by ignorant. It is interesting to note that I have not found Neptune that is the planet of confusion, self-sacrifice and daydreaming much connected with this problem though purely by astrological consideration, it had to play a major role here.

Now, observing the Second Data that is the birth charts of highly famous persons that committed or said to have committed Suicide, I noticed some common features again. Here, Mars did not have a prominent role and Neptune was again not very significant though it did appear to have a part in this set-up. The main actors at this stage were Jupiter, Saturn and interestingly, the Moon. Seeing these three bodies in play and also a role of fixed signs, I devised a simple assumption to check. It goes that “If Jupiter or Saturn is in conjunction with the Moon and the remaining planet of the two occupies a sign that is fixed by nature, there is a great danger of committing suicide”. It is most interesting to note that all the six Birth Charts I took for study fully conformed to this assumption. However the sample taken due to non-availability of much facts and figures, is so meager that the hypothesis has to be checked on a much greater scale with many charts of the highly famous people that have ignorantly committed suicide. Here I would like to remark that Astrology tells us that the conjunction of Jupiter and Moon is good for optimism and a sound mind. It is a favorable aspect if other indications agree. I do not challenge this (in fact I do accept the rule) but I would like to say here plainly that we are in for quite an addition of text in the aspects of the planets indeed. For the present, let us check the available charts of these highly famous persons that committed suicide.

The most obvious example of this is the ruthless Nazi leader of Germany who wounded not only many humans but also humanity itself. Adolph Hitler was born on 20th April 1889 with the last degrees of Libra at the Ascendant. His chart clearly vouches for the given assumption as he has Moon and Jupiter in conjunction while the third body of this trio i.e. Saturn is in Leo, the fixed fire sign. There may be other indication for his suicide yet the main theme of the trio is clearly visible.

Elvis Presley (born January 8th, 1935) had Saturn in conjunction to Moon while Jupiter, the third body of the Trio, was in Scorpio, the fixed water sign. It is interesting to note that a favorable aspect between Jupiter and Neptune is always present when Jupiter is not with Moon in such cases. Here we find Jupiter in sextile to Neptune. It seems that Saturn and Jupiter both need to touch the mind in the cases of these famous lives. Moon is always a representative of a sound mind while Neptune is the artistic mind that likes to dream even when fully awake.

Michel Gauquelin (born November 13th, 1928) was a German astrologer of repute. He has some interesting theories to his credit and has written a number of books on the subject. His chart shows the Moon in conjunction with Saturn while Jupiter is in Taurus, the fixed Earth sign, with a Trine from Neptune. His Sun is in Scorpio, indicating his interest in occult matters clearly.

Ernest Hemmingway (born July 21st, 1899) was a classical writer of fiction. His work “The old man and the sea” is a well-written story that also shows his grasp of the understanding of human nature. He chose to depart from the world in the same fashion as his father did and committed suicide in 1961. His chart shows a wide conjunction of Moon and Saturn while his Jupiter was in Scorpio. Here Jupiter had a Trine from Neptune. The Moon that plays an important part in these cases seem to have a say due to fact that these all have a public image and they know quite well that their actions would affect the feelings of the people specially their fans. Please note that the Moon in Astrology is very closely related to the people in general. Let us take another famous case here.

It was August of 1962 when she chose to die at the age of 36, according to the popular acceptance. Marylyn Monroe, who was born on 1st of June 1926, was one of the most beautiful actresses of her times and her suicide (if it was that) was a very sad incident for millions of her fans. She had a conjunction of Moon and Jupiter in Aquarius, the Fixed Air Sign with Saturn in Scorpio, the Fixed Water Sign. Neptune was also present in a fixed sign Leo opposing Moon and Jupiter while squaring Saturn. With so much fixed in her chart and with the trio taking its position well she needed a lot of strength to combat the given situation. She did well for many years after a very sad childhood yet in the last did lose her hopes and will to go on with life.

The last of the charts in this data is for Virginia Woolf who was a wonderful novel-writer. She was born at 25th January 1882. She had Saturn, Jupiter, Neptune and Pluto in the Fixed Sign Taurus, with Moon in conjunction to Saturn. The Hypothesis is still valid as is quite clear. This completes the record of suicide among the most famous according to the data given here and amazingly it conforms 100% to the set Criterion.

Although the data presented does prove the given assumption totally yet much work must be done on this same assumption for conformation. This is especially more important now when we find cases of terror such as 9/11. It is a point to note that the Moon was sandwiched between Jupiter and Saturn; and Mars (and Pluto) was in opposition to this Trio of Suicide on that deadly date. It is the Plain Truth that you may conform by your own self. And again this sad incident that shook the world came in the tenure of a person (Mr. G.W. Bush) who has the Moon in conjunction to Jupiter & Neptune, with Saturn very near to a Fixed Sign Leo that already has three planets present inside. The planets in the heavens seem to say that if all is well set and no one is interested in combating our deadly influence, let us do the bad work. So the stars do play well but the theme is for us to understand. I do not say that all such configuration would lead to the suicidal tendency or an attempt for it but I do want this phenomenon checked on a big scale so that we could save many people if we understand the phenomenon correctly. The main reason to present this paper is that we all by collective effort get a tool to prevent such persons that guide their frustration out by a wrong outlet, creating trouble for all the persons around. Please note that my religion Islam commands to save lives as much as possible as the Quran tells us that “To kill one innocent life is to kill the whole humanity and to save one life is to save the whole humanity”. Due to this I have tried hard to form rules that may benefit my fellow beings. May Allah give His Blessing to all of the people by the True Knowledge of all things.

As the odds against the assumptions seem to be surprisingly low I am positive in saying that we do have something here that must be checked thoroughly and if it holds to the test, put to use with such measures that many lives may be saved. Now let us take the final data.

The third and the last data that I checked in this regard was for the persons that were somewhat famous yet not on a global level. These also show the same trend for Moon and the fixed signs though Saturn and Jupiter were less involved here. Most of the charts had a square to the Moon and the planet squaring the Moon was Pluto or Uranus. I have also seen that Chiron has prominence in the natal charts of those who lead to mass suicide or ask for it. In this data, hypothesis that was to be taken to test needed some effort but I took what I thought best as “Moon when comes in square to Uranus or Pluto and the Fixed Signs are pronounced, it shows an inclination towards Suicide”. Checking this assumption on 18 persons randomly selected from the site listed below, I found interesting results.

I studied the charts of (1) Dana Plato (actress), (2) Kart Cobian (musician), (3) G. Eastman (Film Roll fame), (4) Brian Samuel (manager of “Beetles”), (5) Goebbles (Nazi Propagandist), (6) David Kelly (Scientist), (7) Felix Hansdorf (Mathematician), (8) Sarah Kane (Playwright), (9) Hamelore Kohl (wife of Mr. Helmut Kohl), (10) Fridolen Andermat (Swiss Politician), (11) Gerard de Nerval (Poet), (12) Walter Benjamin (Cultural Theorist), (13) Herman Brood (musician), (14) Gilles Deluze (French Philosopher), (15) Romain Garry (Russian Novelist), (16) Charlotte Perkins (feminist, essayist), (17) Stephen Zureigg (writer) and (18) Louis Althusser (writer on ideology).

Now, some of these charts proved the criterion in total where Moon was in square to Uranus or Pluto and the Fixed Signs were pronounced while some were totally out of this plan. When more than 3 planets are situated in fixed signs they are pronounced i.e. prominent and if both the lights Sun & Moon are in fixed sign then even one more body in a fixed sign would make the fixed signs prominent. The charts that conformed the test totally were number 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 13, 15, 16 and 17. However, the chart of No. 16 had Moon in conjunction to Mars and it needed the aid of Mars to link to Pluto. These are Nine charts in total, a good margin for the test. The charts that did not conform to test were 2, 9, 12, 14, 18 but even four of these showed some aspect of Moon to Saturn (an odd player here) and a favorable aspect from Moon to Pluto (sextile in two, trine in one and conjunction in one). The remaining charts 5, 8, 10 and 11 though again did not conform yet the fixed signs were prominent in ALL. The result seems 50:50 at this hypothesis but seeing the trends, some more observation may lead to a better idea of the configuration to be seen.

I am sure that if we observe the world around us and its influences well we would make ourselves much better people. Wood, Iron and Bronze have developed a lot that we erroneously call development of Man. It is about time that we do develop by increasing our Knowledge about ourselves, as this Knowledge is Power that would lead us to better ourselves and all the people of the world.

Criminal Tendency in Natal Charts

Life is an amazing thing. Although we have studied life so much in so many ways by observation & scientific methods yet there is so much still to learn. Astrology is but one way to study Life though of course it is not a Predictive Art as is so wrongly thought. It is in fact a powerful tool that develops the potential in us to better judge our INSIDE (our Psyche, collective and individual) but our Future depends mostly on our own Belief, Deed and Knowledge to better ourselves by our own free will. After studying Astrology for so many years, I am totally sure that it does give us an idea of our tendencies, urges and inclinations. It has a close link to denote our characters not being the source of its making & development but merely a commentator on it, though a wonderful commentator and an amazing observer indeed. It is the power of our hearing that must be good to get what it’s telling us and the ability of our free will that must be strong to use the same in a positive manner. Recently, I have written articles on the Suicidal Tendency and the Religious Tendency as shown in Natal Charts and presently, I intend to tell the Criminal Tendency as shown in them. But before stepping on towards this work, I would ask you to please note a few points here.

First of all, this is a research work in Astrology that must be verified by other studies in Astrology concerning this same tendency, as the data though good for this study is not much vast. Secondly, the data taken for study here is collected individually from the net so with all caution, there still remains a small probability of error in one or two birth dates. Thirdly, this data contains Male Subjects only who had murder as their main crime. So again a broader study is much needed to verify the results that I have received with the inclusion of female subjects too in the study for criminal tendency. However, I have seen in the charts of the few female subjects that I could find for study that those also show these same indications as presented here for male criminals though a study with many such charts would certainly be better. Fourthly, Astrology is NOT an exact science that once all these indications that I am presenting here (4 in total) are seen in a chart, the person in study is termed as a criminal. We are studying Human Beings here who have an amazing occult power inside to combat all wrongs so it needs a fifth indication to denote that a person is a criminal and that is he must have committed a dangerous crime practically. With the practice of caution, those individuals need to be appreciated greatly too who even with the high criminal tendency, refrain themselves consciously from committing deadly crimes. Fifthly, I want the Assumption I am presenting here to be checked on a large data thoroughly and so I ask plainly not to take only my word for this matter leaving the responsibility of judgment to my person only. A clear verification in this regard might lead to the betterment of us all and as such it would be a Blessing of Allah on my humble self and on all the people who commit themselves to this good work. With these comments, let us come to the indications that show the Criminal Tendency in Natal Charts.

With persistence, I managed to collect quite a number of Birth Dates from the net of those persons who had committed deadly crimes (murder being one of them) and finally, I was able to furnish my study with fifty-two Birth Dates that related to the previous couple of centuries. You would find a date reported twice here as twins are involved. Without disclosing the names, I am presenting the dates that comprise my data of study here:

I checked these dates on my computers and found very interesting results. Just at the beginning, I knew very well due to the astrological guidelines that I would have to keep in view the aspects made by three of the planets that possess the key to understanding this tendency. The most important was Pluto (that asks for elimination of wrongs and so even asks sometimes to eliminate those men too that the person in study considers as wrongs). The second planet to consider was Mars, the warrior, that must present itself where a viewpoint needs to be put by force. And the third one to consider was the planet that discloses morals in the nativity and that of course was Jupiter. Taking the recognized Seven Aspects that is Conjunction (allowing 10 degree orb), Semi-Sextile (allowing 2 degree orb), Sextile (allowing 6 degree orb), Square (allowing 8 degree orb), Trine (allowing 8 degree orb), In-conjunct (allowing 2 degree orb) and Opposition (allowing 10 degree orb), I found that Pluto made aspects with at least four bodies in the charts. In other words, it was in contact with much of the matters related to the native and it presented itself mostly with at least one square in the nativity. There were 45 charts where Pluto was in recognized aspects with four planets or more while there were 33 charts that presented at least one square to Pluto. By this Observation, I got the first point of my Assumption that closed at Four Final Points for the deduction of the Criminal Tendency in the Natal Charts and that was “when Pluto aspects at least four bodies in the natal chart by recognized aspects with at least one square to it from any planet, the person in study has a criminal tendency”. However, a caution must be present where the work of the native is much related to Pluto like Spiritual Leaders, Uniformed Workers like Police & Army and Mine Workers. I would leave the judgment in this regard to the reader’s own good consideration. Pluto had both the indications i.e. aspects to four bodies and a square to any planet, in 30 charts in study and that comes to 57.69 Percent and it’s a high figure by consideration of Probability in this regard.

Next I took Mars and here I did not have to concentrate much as the point was a glaring fact just as I took up the study. Mars was in Square or in Opposition to at least one of its Outer Planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto). This configuration of Mars presented itself in 36 of the 52 Natal Charts in study and this gave me the second point of my Assumption being “when Mars is in Square or Opposition to any one of its outer planets, the person in study has a criminal tendency”. The percentage of presentation of Mars in these Natal Charts in this mentioned configuration was 69.23 Percent and that is a high figure by consideration of its probability of occurrance.

I also looked for the sign that presented itself strongly here but found none yet observed that at many charts the Mutable Signs presented themselves strongly. Mutable signs did have a number of planets though this was not highly recurring fact so I checked and re-checked the data and found that at least 3 planets in total presented themselves in the total Mutable Signs in 42 Charts of these 52 (80.77 Percent) and though a high figure yet if taken alone does not seem to have much value. However, when I would form the total assumption (and of course that assumption is important to which we would arrive with these points of observation that I am presenting in this writing), I would give this observation too its due share though I mention it here just as an interesting fact to note.

As I turned to Jupiter, I was expecting it weak by sign and aspects. On the contrary, I found it to be strong by sign (and traditional aspects were not relevant), occupying mostly Cancer, Libra, Scorpio and Sagittarius. There is an Eastern rule in Astrology for Jupiter that says Jupiter is powerful in Libra too while Scorpio is a water sign that with Cancer and Pisces favors Jupiter. Sagittarius being the sign of the planet Jupiter, is also complementary to it. So here we have a point to consider. It seems to me that the Criminal mind unconsciously is going for the betterment of the environment by eliminating someone (a theme on which Jupiter in Cancer or Sagittarius might play) or there may be a factor in the unconscious that relates to showing off (a theme in consideration to Jupiter in Libra or Scorpio) or probably it is that as Libra, Scorpio and Sagittarius are the 3rd quarter in the signs (denoting Suspense in the attitude of others towards the Native), it denotes to take chance having better hopes (Jupiter at this Quarter) for an escape with the wrong-doing. However, leaving aside the theme at present, I would present the result I got here. Jupiter was present in one of these four signs in 37 of the charts and this happened to be 71.15 Percent here, surely a notable figure. I have also seen that mostly two of the planets from Pluto, Mars and Jupiter (the three important planets in regards to Criminal Tendency) seem to be at 30 degrees from each other anywhere in such nativities and this phenomenon was present in 36 charts here and this also is a very high occurrance for sure. This observation gives the third point for the Criminal Tendency and that is "when two of the planets from Pluto, Mars and Jupiter are within 30 degrees to each other with Jupiter preferably but not necessarily in Cancer, Libra, Scorpio or Sagittarius, the person in study has a criminal tendency". The Percent in which two of these important planets presented themselves near to each other in the charts in study was 69.23 Percent and as such, this observation is also able to claim a considerable weight in the Assumption for the detection of Criminal Tendency indeed.

Although the Assumption can be presented in full here now yet I would like to point out one more interesting thing in this data and make that the fourth and final point of my Assumption to complete it well. Observing the Data, I saw that partially, the pattern of these charts have a harmony with each other. There are 5 or more planets (Sun & Moon included) very near to each other in most of the Charts as if sitting in a group somewhere. This group does not sit in particular signs but it is found anywhere in the chart occupying some 60 degrees and many times sits only in 45 degrees (not two whole signs necessarily but an area consisting of 45 to 60 degrees) of the Wheel. This can not be termed as Bundle as this area is not occupied by all the planets so it is just a part of the Bundle pattern. These planets are often very close and I would term this interesting configuration as the “Closet” of the Planets. Checking for this Closet Pattern, I found that 42 Charts among this Data have this configuration so including it into the Assumption, the Fourth Point here is “when 5 or more planets are near to each other occupying 45 degree area in the Wheel anywhere, the person in study has a criminal tendency”. I think the natives with the Bundle Pattern ought to review their selves well and good. The Percent for this placement in the Charts in study comes to 80.77 Percent, a very high figure for sure and no doubt quite capable of negating all good Probability Calculations by quite a margin.

Now at this juncture, it is not difficult to form the total Assumption to detect the Criminal Tendency in Natal Charts by the given indications. So now we have the Total Assumption that “when Pluto aspects four or more planets strictly in accordance with accepted orbs and makes a square with any planet in the natal chart and in addition to this, Mars is in Square or Opposition strictly in accordance with accepted orbs to any one of its outer planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto), then the person in study has an Undeveloped Criminal Tendency. When Mutable Signs are pronounced in the Chart this tendency rises much though in addition, two planets from Pluto, Mars & Jupiter must also present themselves within 30 degrees to each other in the chart (Jupiter preferably presenting itself in Cancer, Libra, Scorpio or Sagittarius). Thus, this tendency shoots up high and gets totally developed becoming highly dangerous and it might become more so with a presence of Closet of Planets (at least 5 planets occupying an area of 45 degrees) in the natal chart anywhere”.

I would like to indicate here that I have read an artice on the net regarding criminal tendency that presents an interesting observation that Moon and Saturn are elevated in such nativities while Pluto tends to come at one of the last 3 houses. Though it does not give any attention to aspects yet this observation is interesting and placement of Pluto between MC and the Ascendant might be taken as the Fifth Point while elevation of the Moon and Saturn might be taken as the Sixth. As I did not have the ascendants for the available charts in the data so I was unable to make such observation yet as the writer of that article seems positive that her observation does seem to be connected to this matter, I took it as a mentionable point. After observing this data so much, I think that though caution must be practiced in dealing with persons with such planetary configuration, yet utmost caution must also be practiced in calling anybody a criminal as the assumption presented here needs much vast study for its verification while it must better be present in total to take anyone as inclined towards criminal activity. I would ask my readers to try to verify these results on a very high scale, taking a data of a thousand criminals if available. Even if it is verified that this configuration does show a high tendency to commit deadly crimes yet as I wrote here before too, it needs one more indication to denote that a person is a dangerous criminal and that is he must have committed such a crime practically. So with all precautionary steps for personal safety if the indications are verified, a caution must always be present too in calling or taking anyone as inclined to criminal activity disregarding his free will and self respect totally as that would be a form of injustice too.

With all said and done, please note that we are studying Human Beings here who have an amazing occult power inside to combat all wrongs and we must never turn our eyes away from this amazing quality. Criminals, like others, also have an inner power that once on due to a good guidance, might refrain them from committing wrong thus making the world a better place. We must develop Faith in our Creator, The True Lord, for He only has the Power to grant us the Mercy, Blessing and Permission to affect His world, for the rightness and for the better.

Religious Tendency in Natal Charts

Astrology is a study that tells us about the character, urges and tendencies of a person. It does not tell us about the Future for sure as taken by most people. The old class of Astrologers used to stress this point but the modern persons who are adept in astrology, even though many accept the fact that Astrology is not a fortune telling system, commit the same mistake of applying Astrology to Predictions. Even if the old ones did tell something as a prediction they always pointed out that this is just a calculated guess. It may be a notch better than an ordinary guess but they never gave the guess any more importance than what it deserved, understanding well that Astrology is all “Tendencies” and not “Predictions”.

As a student of Astrology, I have studied in the Natal Charts the Suicidal Tendency, Criminal Tendency, Abnormally High Sexual Tendency, Schizophrenic Tendency, Tendency for Specific Pathology, Power-Abuse Tendency and Tendency to Apply Beauty Negatively. I have denoted these tendencies that are mentioned here and readers would find the related writings by following the links listed. The detection of care for religion, morals & character by natal charts is possible easily if the following statement is kept in view.

"One of the three personal significators in the Natal Chart is within 30 degrees to Jupiter and one of these is present in the ninth house (Sun, Moon and The Ruler of the Ascendant are taken as the three personal significators)". Other alternative for this is "Both the Lights and Jupiter are components of a Grand Trine or of a T-Square while one of them occupies the Ninth House". When any of these two situations is present in the Natal Chart, the Native would be much caring towards good morals and with any of these positions, if Jupiter presents itself near the Ascendant or the Midheaven then this puts much emphasis on the regards for the good morals as the Native takes it and this placement of Jupiter with any of the two positions mentioned, also indicates a Native who deals with everyone and everything wisely. I have seen that sometimes the sign Scorpio presents itself strongly in the Natal Chart due to a personal significator inside or being on the Ascendant for those who value good morals much more than others. I have studied charts of Religious Scholars who take up and profess good morals including my own natal chart (Birth: 20th March 1959, around 10 PM at Karachi; Scorpio Rising) with Jupiter Re-St at the First House which is a part of the Grand Trine that forms between the planet and both the lights while the Moon is in the Ninth House.

It is a fact that Human Beings have superiority due to their knowledge over all the other creatures so if we develop the Knowledge about ourselves we would surely be able to make the world a better place. Astrology is also one way to achieving this task though we must keep away from taking it as a fortune telling system for the simple reason that it is not that. With the development of such knowledge, the world would promise only Peace, Love and Humanity to all and not hatred or rejection to any one as then the concept “Live and let live” would be in total practice at every time and at every place indeed.

COMBINATION OF HOUSES

Although, I do not consider astrology to be some kind of a predictive art yet I do take the natal chart as a wonderful instrument to understand characteristics of a person. Astrology is actually a study of combinations of planets and houses that tell us clearly about the character if the judgment is good. Though signs are also given much attention in the interpretation of charts yet except to see the house rulership, they are seldom important. If one grasps the rules for such combinations, one can easily detect the salient features of the character of the native in study. I have written about the aspects and the combination of planets (including the Sun and the Moon) at the net and have pointed out that as any three bodies come in 30 degrees area anywhere, they do provide some specific information about the person in study according to their meaning. For example, when Mars, Jupiter and Moon come into 30 degrees area with or without any other body in between, this denotes depressive and even schizophrenic attitude at times. The T-square between these three also implies the same even when only two sides are covered by these three with any other body at the third side. Also, another interesting astrological point that I have seen and have pointed out is that if Mars, Saturn and Pluto come in 30 degree area or in a T-square (or even in a Grand Trine), they denote a suicidal tendency in the native that might lead him to take his own life considering it the best option available. Also, if Moon, Jupiter and Chiron come into a 30 degree area in a female’s nativity or if these three have a clear connection there, it may denote adopted morals that are mostly related to much indecency and shameful attitude. Regarding the three important matters of life namely authority, wealth and suffering, I would comment here that according to my observation, if two of the three indicators of the native (Sun, Moon and the ruler of the Ascendant) are at two of the fire houses (1,5,9) and with this placement a stellium takes place in one of these houses or with this placement, a grand trine forms in these three houses by any planets, it denotes a very confident character capable of an amazingly good leadership even at much adverse situations. If Jupiter is much in play with this configuration, the native might be much caring about morals. Saturn or the ruler of the tenth house at the first puts an emphasis on this configuration. Likewise, if the earth houses (2,6,10) have two of the indicators at different houses in them with a stellium at any of these or with a Grand Trine of any planets among these three, it denotes a person capable of accumulating a good amount of wealth with ease and he might enjoy a prominence in the society he lives in. Venus or the ruler of the second house at the first puts an emphasis on this configuration. If the air houses (3,7,11) have two of the indicators inside two of this specific trio and a stellium is present in one of these or a Grand Trine forms between these three, this makes a person capable of studying all sorts of worldly subjects with a high quality of common sense and an urge to travel a lot. Such a person may have the capability to make his way in power-politics getting ahead at the expense of the political career of many a related persons who get in the way of such a native specially with Libra at the ascendant. Mercury or the ruler of the sixth house at the first puts an emphasis on this configuration. I have seen that Libra at the ascendant mostly denotes such people who prefer dictatorship in some way or other in a given situation and most noteworthy in this regard was Adolf Hitler. Please note that any of the cardinal signs gives a touch of dictatorship at the Ascendant though the native would not be able to forward much of his qualities related to dictatorship against the preferences of the society he lives in yet sometimes if the dictatorship is capable of leading a whole nation to safety & security just as an effective pill with a bitter taste, the leadership of such persons might be tolerated yet for a very short span of time (and that also with Aries or Cancer only). However, dictatorship as a way of leadership is rightly taken as totally wrong indeed. Any of the fixed signs at the Ascendant shows provision for something and that provision might be of wealth with Taurus, of rightousness with Leo, of environment based on high morals with Scorpio and of relationship with Aquarius. Any of the mutable signs at the ascendant asks for harmony with people around even if it takes some sacrifice from the Native for this, as he would prefer to buy peace with any amount that he could pay within his capacity. Now if two of the three indicators occupy any two houses of the Water Houses (4,8,12) and a stellium takes place in any of these houses or a Grand Trine forms here by any planets, the Native would spend a great amount of money and would easily incur heavy material losses in business or otherwise yet would always have something to fall back upon. He may be some kind of a Great Gambler yet always having some amount of wealth to lose. Neptune or the ruler of the twelfth house at the first puts an emphasis on this configuration. If the sixth house is in play with this configuration, due to its ruler in the first or due to one of the indicators there, he might be prone to infections and illness and he might find himself invalid for quite a time if he does not take precautionary steps for maintenance of his health (and even surgeries are possible). So in a nutshell when the indicators form a pattern by putting an emphasis on any special set of houses (these sets being 1,5,9 and 2,6,10 and 3,7,11 and 4,8,12), they convey a specific message. If this message is understood well, we might find it able to make us understand ourselves well so it is something to study with observation.

There are studies that relate to human beings and the rules of which do not apply totally for some persons because of the fact that human beings are most amazing in their physical form, mental ability and spiritual power and in fact, they are totally other form of life than animals as wrongly thought by many of the people in the world today and this I have pointed out in my writings clearly though detail in neither possible nor desired here. Even a few set rules of Economics or Social Sciences would fail totally for the person who decides to leave a normal life and lives quietly with minimum requirement of life at some place not much inhabited. So, much depends upon a persons’ own efforts as he can master his matters by faith, efforts and knowledge. Keeping this in mind, we must understand that astrology is a study of life and it shows the direction of efforts where a person might be at ease yet it does not have the power to stop a person for whatever efforts he wants to make and in this way, even though conveying an idea of fate, it appreciates free will.
